Dr. Singh approaches his patients without any prejudice and shows a deep passion towards his work and the individuals he has the opportunity to assist. He is based in East Bay and welcomes patients from the Greater Bay Area for both in-person (at his Fremont medical office) and virtual visits. |
EDUCATION & TRAINING
Dr. Singh graduated from the University of California, Davis in 2007 with a Bachelor of Science in Exercise Biology. He earned his Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree from the Medical University of Lublin in 2012. Subsequently, in 2016, he completed his training in Psychiatry from the University of Illinois, College of Medicine, Peoria, where he gained experience in a range of psychiatric settings, including adult inpatient and outpatient psychiatry, child and adolescent, psychosomatic, and addiction medicine. In 2017, he pursued his interest further by attending the Addiction Psychiatry fellowship at the University of California, Los Angeles. Additionally, in 2020, he received certification from the American Board of Lifestyle Medicine to provide whole-body care.

A MULTIMODAL APPROACH
Dr. Singh, a triple board-certified physician (Addiction Psychiatry, Lifestyle Medicine, and Adult Psychiatry), encourages healthy lifestyle choices including regular exercise, a nutrient-rich diet, good sleep hygiene, mindfulness practices, and medication as necessary. He utilizes a multimodal approach to address addiction, lifestyle, and mental health concerns, evaluating biological, psychological, social, and lifestyle factors to create individualized treatment plans for each patient. Dr. Singh advocates for shared decision-making, offering treatment options and respecting patient autonomy in choosing the best approach.
